School celebrates 376 years of education

PUPILS at one of the oldest schools in the county have celebrated 376 years since it was founded in Kington.

Lady Hawkins' annual Foundress' Day, which marks the moment Lady Margaret Hawkins opened its doors in 1632, was remembered, as always, with a service at St Mary's Church attended by guests including Mayor of Kington Allan Lloyd.
