BUDDING historians and anyone keen to trace their ancestry will enjoy a series of local history events from Herefordshire Council.
Talks to encourage community research in libraries during the National Year of Reading are planned across the county.
Family History Society members will be at Ross Library between 6pm and 7pm on September 10 to explain how to start a family tree.
Duncan James will give a presentation on North Herefordshire’s timber-framed buildings at Leominster Library between 7.30pm and 9pm on September 19.
Barges, barrels and bark will then be the subject of a talk from author Heather Hurley at Hereford Library from 7.30pm on September 24.
