Art event for parish church

AMATEUR and professional artists from the county will be showcasing their work at an exhibition in aid of Weobley parish church next weekend.
The show and sale, in its 23rd year, is organised by the Friends of Weobley Parish Church.
There will be 344 works of art on display and available to purchase from £25.
In the silent auction, offers in excess of £100 are invited for an oil painting of Weobley church by Marina Strangward, who exhibited at the event last year.
The event is being held at Weobley Village Hall from Saturday until Monday from 10am until 5pm.
Entrance costs £1 with all proceeds going to the church, and refreshments will also be available.
