A HEREFORDSHIRE primary school has been left shocked after the sudden death of a teacher.
Kelly Fleming, aged 31, was a supply teacher at Garway Primary School and died at the school last Wednesday (July 16), of natural causes.
The air ambulance was called to treat a suspected asthma attack but Mrs Fleming, a mother of three, died before reaching hospital.
Mrs Fleming, from Yarkhill, had worked at the school for three weeks and was to continue teaching there in September for the next school year.
Headteacher Lorraine Lloyd-Williams said: “In the short time that Kelly was with us, she made a huge impression. Kelly was full of enthusiasm for her role as teacher.
"She had lots of ideas, had a wonderful manner with the children and was full of fun."
Support and counselling services are being provided to staff and pupils.
The funeral service will take place at St Peter’s Church, Bromyard this Friday (July 25).
