SOCIAL EVENING TOMORROW - Woolhope Amateur Dramatic Society was due to be holding a social evening in the Parish Hall tomorrow (Friday) but this has now been cancelled. If you are interested in getting involved with the group in any capacity, call Sheila McEnery on 01531 670332 or Jan Bailey on 01432 840760. There’s a role for everyone – from treading the boards to helping behind the scenes with costumes, makeup, props, sound or lighting. They are a friendly and welcoming bunch who pride themselves on great performances – without taking themselves too seriously.

FARMERS’ MARKET - On Saturday the thriving market is celebrating its fifth birthday and each visitor will be given a raffle ticket to win a special prize. Stalls include locallyproduced meats, preserves, gifts and cards, ready meals and flans, vegetables, fine furnishings, breads and pastries, plants, blade sharpening and handmade craft along with the ever popular refreshments, tea, coffee, cake and bacon rolls. Open 10am to 12.30pm at Woolhope Village Hall.
