BONFIRE AND FIREWORK PARTY - 200 people gathered at the hollow meadow, Westhope, for the annual bonfire party. The huge bonfire lit up the surrounding area. Afterwards, many people came back to the village hall for soup and hotdogs. Many thanks to everyone who helped to make it a successful event.

VILLAGE HALL LOTTERY - Winners in the November draw. First prize of £37.50 went to Brian Carpenter, Walls Butchers; the four prize winners of £6.25 were Alan Beetson, Barbara Jones, George Oliver and Bert Price.

CHRISTMAS PARTY - The Clover Club Christmas party is on Thursday, December 3, at Westhope Village Hall. 12.30pm for 1pm. This party is for members only. Bring a bottle.

CHRISTMAS WHIST - The Christmas whist is on Monday at 8pm. Admission £2. Wonderful prizes and raffle.
