ROAD CLOSURES - On Monday workmen will be removing the old surface in Hereford Road from 8am. High Street is closed for resurfacing noon-2pm and 7pm-10pm. On Tuesday, Hereford Road is closed for resurfacing 8am- 5pm.
ENVIRONMENT - A spring initiative is raising awareness of environmental issues among youngsters. Community fund-raising group Weobley Corn Dollies has asked Weobley High School students to design posters promoting local environmental issues in return for cash prizes. As well as raising their own awareness, students will carry out a village litterpick as part of the project.
