SUPPER AND PROMISE AUCTION - Vowchurch Hall, October 28, 7pm.

Lots include: weekend in seaside cottage; dinner for eight in panelled Georgian dining room; handyman for half a day; six bags well rotted cow manure; canapes for 25; antique valuation; hamper of market goods; beauty treatment; half load seasoned logs; a month’s membership at Curves fitness centre; meal for eight prepared and delivered; one hour riding lesson, jumping or dressage.

Entry £10 includes welcome drink and supper. Pay bar.

COUNTRY MARKET - October 29, 10-12 noon at Vowchurch Village Hall.

All the best local produce from our glorious Golden Valley: plants, organic vegetables, artisan breads, cheeses, apple juice, cakes, chocolates, preserves, pies and eggs. Plus: hand crafted benches, breadboards and bowls. Relax with friends over freshly brewed coffee, home made scones and bacon butties.
