HISTORY SOCIETY PRESENTATION - Next Monday, Marden History Society invites you to a presentation by Richard Jordan on Growing up in London during World War 2 His account of doodle bugs, ration books, dog fights in the sky and sleeping on the underground is not to be missed. His presentation will also include music of the time and over 150 photographs. Please come along to Marden Community Centre for 7.30pm. You will be most welcome. Visitors £2. Chris Powis and Aurora Dadacay from Sutton St Nicholas with singer songwriter Kenny Lynch OBE at the Courtyard Theatre.

AURORA Dadacay celebrated her birthday with partner Chris Powis last Friday by visiting the Courtyard and a nostalgic performance of pure jazz from the Laurie Holloway Trio and successful singer/songwriter and comedian Kenny Lynch OBE.

Sutton School on June 10, 2pm-4pm. Sutton Fete, July 9, 2pm-5pm. Also at Woodville Grove communal hall, on a date to be confirmed, 2pm to 4pm.

Fuel spill in Sutton St Nicholas

FUEL - Firefighters tackled a fuel spillage in Sutton St Nicholas. A crew from Hereford was called to Marden Road just after 9pm last Thursday and helped prevent the diesel from entering the drainage system.

Sutton St Nicholas Primary School Christmas Fair

FAIR - Sutton Primary School is having a Christmas fair on Saturday,12.30pm to 3pm, in Sutton Village Hall. Visit Santa in his grotto. There will be a variety of stalls, children’s games and craft activities, hot pork and turkey rolls and mulled wine, afternoon teas and mince pies, and traders such as Phoenix cards, Mayfield Brewery, Cakes and Makes and jewellery. Admission free.

Housing Need Survey and gift night at Sutton St Nicholas
