MUCH COWARNE WI - The WI will meet promptly at 7.30pm tomorrow (Friday), at Stoke Lacy Village Hall. Archie Miles will be the guest and he will be talking about heritage trees of Herefordshire and the Welsh borders. New members are very welcome.

COFFEE - In a new venture for Stoke Lacy there will be a coffee morning in the church on every second Saturday of the month between 10am and noon. Each event will be hosted by a different group and this Saturday, it will be the turn of the local book group. Apart from refreshments and a bringand- buy stall, the group will be introducing a book share scheme. A bookshelf will be set up in the church and it is hoped that visitors will bring in books that they have enjoyed or that they would like to recommend to others.

They can then be shared, swapped, given away or loaned. Unwanted books can also be donated.
