PLOD AROUND PRESTON - Meet at 10.30am on Sunday at Preston-on-Wye Village Hall for coffee and a not-too-strenuous walk of about 1.5 miles. Dogs on leads are welcome.
Return to the hall for brunch, a bring-andbuy stall and bar. To book lunch (£5), call Rhian Barker on 01981 500461 or email rhianwydd@ hotmail.co.uk. All proceeds to Greyhound Rescue West of England.
EXERCISE - Boxercise/tabata exercise classes at the village hall every Tuesday from 6pm-7pm, £3 per session.
TENNIS - Club subscriptions are now due – £15 for adults, £5 for under-16s and students for unlimited use of courts. Call membership secretary Andrew Rawstorne or email email@example.com.
RECYCLING - There is a recycling collection point for printer laser and ink jet cartridges and mobile phones behind the stage at the village hall. Alternatively, leave them in the front porch at Well Cottage. They are used by the Dogs’ Trust to generate funds.
FETE AND CLASSIC VEHICLES - On July 7, Hereford Hospital Radio will again be in attendance along with all the usual stalls, games and catering plus Rosie and Monty goat.
VILLAGE HALL - Call booking secretary Caroline Hodgson on 01981 500543 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. WiFi available on request.
