LOCAL HISTORY GROUP - At the inaugural meeting of this group it was decided that in view of the Queen’s approaching diamond jubilee its first project would be to discover what was happening in Pembridge at the time of the coronation. If anybody has any information and would like to contribute please contact Bob Anderson on 01544 388292 or attend the next meeting of the group at the New Inn, Pembridge, on February 28 at 7.30pm. Future meetings will take place on the fourth Tuesday each month.

CONCERT - At St Mary’s Church, Pembridge at 7.30pm on March 17, in memory of Simon Boosey, hear the Aberni Quartet with baritone Marcus Farnsworth. They will perform works by Mozart, Barber, and Dvarak and premier a new work by John McCabe.
