PLANT SALE - The Much Cowarne bring-and-buy plant sale, including garden items, will be held tomorrow (Friday) at Much Cowarne Church. Doors will open at 6.30pm and entrance is free. Everyone is welcome, and there are drinks and nibbles on hand. If anyone has items they’d like to have collected, call Marlene on 01432 820282. All proceeds will go to Much Cowarne Church.

MACMILLAN COFFEE MORNING - Tuesday, a coffee morning in aid of MacMillan nurses is being held by the preschool at Burley Gate village hall from 9.15am till 11am. Everyone is welcome.

COUNCILS - The parish councils for Ocle Pychard Group and Much Cowarne Group of parishes will meet in Burley Gate Village Hall at 7.30pm on Tuesday. All parishioners are welcome to attend.

CAROLS - Burley Gate carol singers will be out and about on Wednesday and on December 21. To book them for a personal carol session, contact Audrey on 01432 820436 or at wanaki@ukgo.com. The singers will meet at 6pm at Burley Gate Post Office on both days and new members are always welcome. The singers will be supporting a local Herefordshire charity and Hospice Care for Children in Kenya.

CAROLS - Tonight (Thursday) at 6.30pm there will be a candlelight carol service at St Mary’s Church, Much Cowarne, featuring the children of Burley Gate School. Mulled wine and mince pies will be served afterwards.
