VILLAGE SHOP - After a long period when the village has been without its shop, new owners Gary Seaton and Mark Ratcliffe intend to once more make it a focus of the village. Ye Olde Steppes will reopen on Saturday at 10am, with an official opening and refreshments at 11am. Teas will be available from the following week and this should go hand in hand with wi-fi access so tea/coffee and browsing will bring Pembridge into the 21st century. Call the shop on 01544 388506.
