MARKET - The village market takes place tomorrow (Friday) in Much Birch Community Hall, just off the A49, between 2.30pm and 4.30pm. The proceeds of the Much Birch WI book stall will go its charity of the year, cancer charity The Cobalt Trust. Dan, who is a popular addition, sharpens garden tools, knives and patchworker’s rotary cutter blades. Refreshments, take home cakes and eggs are sold in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
