200 CLUB - The winners of Mordiford Church 200 Club draw in July were Mr P Garnett (£90), Stuart Coleman (£60) and Len Gee (£30).
CHURCH - Normally held at Sufton Court, the fete was transferred to Mordiford School due to wet weather. Thanks to support from the headteacher,and local residents, £1,333.12 was raised for church funds. A clay pigeon shoot organised by Peter Davies added another £330 and thanks go to all who supported the events. Thanks go to the four people who responded positively to last week’s appeal for volunteer church cleaners.
BOOKS - Rachael Yardley would like to start a local book club in conjunction with Fownhope Community Library. Anyone interested should contact her on 01432 860958.
