Mordiford holiday fun and jubilee

HOLIDAY FUN - Summer holiday activities with qualified coaches at Mordiford School for children in years three to six. Choose from football or cheerleading/street jazz.
Sessions run from July 30 to August 2, 10am-3pm. £3.50 per child per day. Booking is essential as spaces are limited. Call Mel Preedy on 769480 or email clerk@ dormingtonmordifordgroup-pc.gov.uk.
JUBILEE - On Saturday, Hereford Police Male Voice Choir is joined by Mordiford School choir at a concert in the church, 7pm- 8.45pm followed by refreshments. Tickets still available. Adults £7, children £4. On Sunday activities throughout the day, begin at 9am with a canoe flottila from Badgers Crossing in Hampton Bishop to Garlands Farm in Mordiford. Meet at the school at 9am. The church service is Holy Communion at 9.30am. There is a shared lunch on the school field with contributions of food accepted from noon, then sports and competitions during the afternoon, plus a jubilee raffle. Children, and adults, start making your crowns now. On Monday, a beacon will be lit at Swardon Quarry from 7.30pm with a barbecue available.
