CHURCH - In a change of dates at All Saints Church, the service on Sunday will be Holy Communion at 11am and the service on May 27 will be morning prayer with a christening at 11am.
BINGO - Monkland bingo players raised £260 for Midlands Air Ambulance.
WALK - The dawn chorus walk on May 5 was very successful and was followed by breakfast in the village hall. Various bird songs were heard but unfortunately not the cuckoo.
