AUTUMN SHOW - Monkland Autumn show will take place on Saturday, in the village hall. Exhibits staged between 9.30-11am and the show opens to the public at 2.30pm. There are 83 categories to choose from for your entry with schedules available from Wendy on 720265.

HALL REDECORATION - Recently the hall committee undertook the mammoth task of re-decorating the building themselves to save on expenses. Volunteers kindly came forward with special thanks to Dave Harris, Trina Morris, Mandy Speakman and Lorraine Mills, Kath Morris, Holly Watkins and Wendy Jancey.

BINGO - A bingo evening, in aid of Acorns Children's Hospice will take place in the village hall on September 2. Eyes down at 8pm. Village bingo will re-start on September 9. No babies or U-six please.

COFFEE MORNING - The Macmillan coffee morning will take place in the village hall on September 30, between 10am-12noon.
