  DUCK RACE - Thanks go to everyone who helped make Saturday’s duck race and barbecue such a success. First duck home was 136 A Egremont-Lee, second 716 Tom and Joyce of Small Farms Butchers, Hay,
  third 586 Doreen Watkins, fourth 1022 John Bufton. Last duck home duck was 440 Pat Rogers. More than £2,100 was made for St Michael’s Church. Glyn Bufton and family at the Bridge Inn provided the
  venue and made their marquee available while Hereford Market Auctioneers provided prize money for the duck race.
