FLICKS IN THE STICKS - At the Escleyside Hall on Wednesday see Michael Sheen and others in Resistance (PG). In 1944 a group of women in an isolated Herefordshire village on the Welsh borders wake up to discover all their husbands have mysteriously vanished.
Writer Owen Sheers will be there to introduce the film and take questions afterwards.
Tickets on the door are £5.50 adult, children £2.50. Doors open at 7.30pm, lights down at 8pm. Licensed bar. For information call 01981 510696 or order tickets in advance through the Courtyard box office. The next film in March will be The Tree of Life (12A).
