WHIST - Whist drives on Tuesday and on January 25 start in the hall at 7.45pm, with proceeds to hall funds.

FLICKS IN STICKS - In the Escleyside Hall on Wednesday, see The Time That Remains (15), a 2009 semi-autobiographical black comedy about a Palestinian family in the aftermath of the creation of Israel. Tickets on the door are £4 adults, children £2.50.
