AT the Gardeners' Association David Everett gave an informative, well-illustrated talk on the history of garden design at the August meeting.

Afterwards the association was reminded that the autumn show takes place on September 3 and that visitors are welcome to view the exhibits from 2pm until 4pm.

The next meeting is on September 13 at 7.30pm when Christine King will demonstrate the art of flower and card pressing. Both events to be held at Marden Community Centre.
