HISTORY SOCIETY TALK - On Monday at 7.30pm in the Community Centre Duncan James will give an illustrated talk on the Vauld Farmhouse in Marden. The 2010 Calendars will also be on sale at £5 each. Entitled Some of the Goings on in Marden, you will be sure to see someone you know!

SINGERS’ CONCERT - There will be a concert by the Church Singers at St Mary’s, Marden at 7.30pm tomorrow (Friday). This celebrated county choir will perform a mix of sacred and secular music including Elgar and Mendelssohn. There will also be guest artists. The singers’ new director of music John Eden will conduct. Tickets, £6 on the door, will include refreshments and proceeds will go to the Marden Church Raise the Roof Appeal Fund.
