GARDENERS’ ASSOCIATION - There was a good attendance at the meeting on February 9, to hear Michael Leech talk about ‘plants with personality’. We saw slides of ones which were new to us as well as enjoying some old favourites. It was fascinating to hear of his career in gardening and the famous people he met during this time. The next meeting will focus on vegetables for show and the kitchen garden and takes place on March 9, at 7.30pm in Marden Community Room. Visitors are welcome. Call 01432 880487 for details.
