OPEN GARDENS - Once again, by popular request, open gardens will be held on the weekend of June 22 and 23, from 1.30pm to 6pm. Visitors can take a gentle walk from one end of the village to the other, taking time to admire the beautifully tended gardens, with a stop halfway for a cream tea. Tickets £5 and there will be a grand draw. Plenty of parking. Contact Cal Edwards for details on 01981 590625.

COFFEE MORNING - In aid of Brinsop church on Saturday from 10am to noon, at the community centre. Come and buy cakes, bric-abrac and Christmas gifts or a raffle ticket.

HARVEST FESTIVAL - The service will be held at St George's Church, Brinsop, on September 28 at 7pm, with guest preacher Rev Nick Read. There will be refreshments and an auction of produce to follow. All welcome.
