Madley Food Festival and Competition Results

IT was a busy Saturday in Madley on September 24.

During the day there were 14 ‘foodie’ tables and 10 craft stalls. It was good to see so many people trying and buying local produce.

Once darkness fell the band played and people danced the night away fortified by a delicious hog roast.

Many thanks to everyone who helped, whether it was carrying tables, baking cakes or sweeping up at midnight.

The total amount raised for church funds will be displayed in the church.

The flower arrangement competition winners were Anya Capel, first, Erin Capel, second.

The vegetable competition was won by Margaret Mais with Lucy Bradley second.

The art competition winners were Rhys Bradley, first and Peter Clarke second.
