PARISH COUNCIL - The meeting was held on Tuesday, December 1, in the parish hall. The council welcomed Ian Clelland as a new councillor. Coun John Jarvis attended the meeting to discuss waste disposal for the county, the recycling scheme and the upcoming local development framework consultation.
Planning applications for Madley School for a new mobile classroom for the preschool and alterations to car parking layout and site access were discussed.
The new website for Madley is now up and running.
This has been funded by the parish council and can be found at madley.org.uk. The next parish council meeting will be on Tuesday, January 5, at 7.15pm in the parish hall. The agenda will be posted on the website.
