Longtown AND DISTRICT HISTORICAL SOCIETY - On Monday in Longtown Hall at 7.30pm David Whitehead, honorary secretary of the Woolhope Club, will talk on James Wathen (1751-1828), Herefordshire artist and Wye tour guide. Wathen was a prolific watercolourist and painted scenery and buildings in every part of Herefordshire. There will be visits but no meetings in May and June.
