Christmas Fair and more in Longtown

FAIR - Longtown Christmas Fair is on Saturday in the village hall, 10am to noon, with a wide range of gifts. All exhibitors have been specially chosen for their work. Admission is free and refreshments are available. The show supports the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution which in turn supports farmers and their families in time of need.

MONEY RAISED - Longtown Community Primary School’s Harvest and auction raised £189.37 to enable the school to sponsor two children in Uganda.

ARMISTICE DAY - Today (Thursday) at 10.30am in Clodock Church, schoolchildren will lead a Remembrance Service. All are welcome.

ART - After a successful Art exhibition showing the work of Joyce Hvass the school has been given a generous cheque for £400 which will support an arts project for the children.
