FLICKS IN THE STICKS - At Michaelchurch Escley Hall on Wednesday, see The Ghost (certificate 15) at 7.30pm. Tickets can be purchased on the door: adult £4 and children £2.50.

MACMILLAN COFFEE MORNINGS - At Brighton House, Michaelchurch Escley on September 24, from 10.30am to 12.30pm, there will be a raffle, cake stall and a bring-and-buy stall. Also on September 24, there will be a coffee morning at Ty Mawr, Clodock, in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. with coffee, tea, cakes, bringand- buy produce stall as well as an auction of local food hampers.

SCHOOL REPORT - Longtown Community Primary School was inspected by Ofsted on July 7-8, and the report has now been finalised and shared with staff, parents, children and governors. The school has been judged as good with five outstanding grades. This is a really good achievement for the school and everyone involved is to be congratulated.
