VILLAGE HALL - Has new outside doors being made and the roof insulation has been improved.The next steps will involve updating the kitchen and toilets which will require careful planning.
DISCOVERY CLUB - Next session will be on Saturday, December 5, at Longtown school. This time the activity will focus on making Christmas sweets and angels. It is open to children aged six to 11 and costs £2 for members and £2.50 for visitors.
WHIST DRIVE - Craswell Young Farmers will hold a whist drive on Tuesday, December 1, at 7.45pm in Craswell Village Hall.
AGM AND SOCIAL EVENING - Escley gardening club will hold its AGM on December 2, at the Kings Arms.
OLCHON VALLEY TALK - Longtown and District Historical Society’s next meeting is on December 7, in the village hall where the speaker will be Tim Hoverd. His subject will be on the Olchon Valley.
