SHOW - Longtown Show is on Saturday in the village hall starting at noon. There will be a produce tent, dog show, pram race, Morris dancers and lots of stalls, local ice cream and refreshments. The Longtown Outdoor Centre will also open its doors for activities such as kayaking, high ropes and orienteering. Children’s races will take place on the top field.
COFFEE MORNING - The world's biggest coffee morning event in aid of Macmillan will take place on September 25, at Ty Mawr, Clodock, from 11am to 12.30pm. There will be an auction of a local food hamper as well as coffee, tea and cakes to buy.
The Stables Tearoom at Abbey Dore Court will hold a coffee morning for Macmillan and injured troops from 10am to 1pm and there will be a cake stall, raffle and tombola.
CONCERT - On Saturday at 5pm, there will be a concert at Dore Abbey.
More than 100 singers will take part in a choral workshop during the day to then perform Songs of the Fleet by Charles Stanford at 5pm. Tickets are £3 for adults on the door.
