Little Hereford gin competition

CONTEST - A gin competition is being hosted in the village. It will provide a chance for people to pit their homemade fruit gin against their neighbours’. The event is at the Temeside Inn on December 7, with proceeds going to the Midlands Air Ambulance.

MARKET - The final craft, good cause and flea market before the summer break takes place at Little Hereford Village Hall on Sunday from 10.30am to 3.30pm. The hall is fully booked with more than 20 stalls selling everything from art and antiques through to woollen items and Wedgwood calendar wall plates. Pick up a bargain and some baking or preserves to take home before enjoying a freshly made snack in the cafe where prices start at 50p. Admission is free from 10.30am.

MARKET - Little Hereford Village Hall will be overflowing with over 20 stalls at the Valentine’s craft, good cause and flea market on Sunday from 10.30am to 3.30pm. Half are crafts and the rest flea and good cause stalls this month selling antiques, art, baking, brica- brac, cards, cosmetics, dried floral arrangements, jewellery, health products, handbags, knitted items, a tombola and Valentine gifts. Good food will be on sale all day including light lunches of sparkling nonalcoholic drink, savoury snack and pudding for £3. The doors open at 10.30am and admission is free.
