ZUMBA - Regular Zumba classes resume at Lingen Village Hall on Monday, 7.30pm to 8.30pm. All are welcome, £4 per session. For details, call 01544 267418 GARDENING - Lingen Gardening Club held its annual meeting last month. Chairman Alvin welcomed everyone thanking in particular the former chairman John Grimes from whom he had inherited a good programme of events through 2011. The committee remains the same and a healthy balance of almost £1,700 was reported. The 2012 programme begins with a talk by Philip Aubrey on February 7. After the AGM member Vic Harnett set a very intersting quiz on trees, won by Rosemary Chrimes and Cary Pierce.
