MARKET - This week's food and craft market will be held at Knighton Community Centre on Saturday. The market has a Halloween theme. Children can have fun with a lucky dip, spooky sounds and a scary stage set. Romy Cuisine will also be back after long summer break. SOUL SUPPLY - There will be live music with Soul Supply at Knighton Football Club on November 1. All proceeds will go to Hope House and the East Radnor Day Centre in Presteigne. Tickets now available from Top to Toe in Knighton and Emily’s Tea Room in Presteigne at £10 each.

PACT MEETINGS - The next Knighton Partners and Communities Together (PACT) meeting will be held at 7pm at the St Edwards Church Hall, Church Street on November 3. The next Presteigne PACT meeting will be held at 7pm at the Presteigne Memorial Hall on November 7. The purpose for these meetings is to afford the community an opportunity to have some input into what the police do in and around Presteigne. Anyone living or working in the Presteigne area is invited to this meeting when they can raise any concerns with the police. If you are unable to attend but wish to raise an issue PC Dixon of the local neighbourhood policing team can be contacted (from within Wales) on 101 or from elsewhere 01267 222020. Alternatively she can be emailed on tricia.dixon@Dyfed-Powys.pnn.police.uk COFFEE MORNING - There will be a coffee morning in aid of Hereford Hospital on Saturday at 11am in the Wellingtonia Centre, Llanbadarn Fynydd. Stalls include Vie at Home, Jamie at Home, Issica Jewellery, guess the name of the bear, Chinese auction, cake stall and face painting. There will be a bouncy castle and a table top sale (£5 a table please contact number below to book). There will also be a grand raffle draw, prizes include helicopter ride, spa package, WRU signed programme, meals out and much more.
