Presteigne and Borders Floral Art Society celebrates 10 years

PRESTEIGNE and Borders Floral Art Society celebrated their 10th anniversary on October 15 at Titley Village Hall.
There were 40 ladies at the event including members, their friends and guests Sheila Smith, area chairman, Sheila Holland, area president and Jane Pugh, demonstrator for the day.
A special celebration cake was made by member Linda Masters. This was cut by Avril Hoyle, chairman of the group and area chairman Sheila Smith.
The table decorations for the event were made by members set in a tin container to mark the 10 years.
After lunch chairman Avril Hoyle welcomed everyone to the event and thanked the ladies who started the society up in the first place adding that she had had so much pleasure since joining.
Avril also thanked the Titley ladies for a wonderful meal.
