KNIGHTON’S Teme Spirits are well into their rehearsals for their forthcoming musical, The Pajama Game.
This is a musical comedy based on the novel 7½ Cents by George Bissell.
The leading character, Babe Williams, was played by Doris Day in the film in the 1950s. Mary Lomax takes on this role with Ian Sharp playing the part of Sid Sorokin.
The music and lyrics are by Richard Alders and Jerry Ross. This amateur production is presented by arrangement with Joseph Weinberger of Music Theatre International, New York.
The production will be at Knighton Community Centre on February 11, 12 and 13, doors opening at 7pm for a prompt 7.30pm start.
Tickets are £6.50 adults and £4.50 children (primary school age and under), available now from The Bookshop, Knighton.
