AS the days get shorter and autumn creeps in, why not think about taking up a new hobby? If you want to make new friends, learn new skills, or just have a bit of fun, then it might be the answer for you. Whether you are 16 years old or 100, there are opportunities from bell ringing to driving, football to gardening or singing to rambling, all in the Kington area.

Did you know that over 140 groups in the Kington area are currently looking for new members and want you? Forty of them will be gathering at the Burton Hotel in Kington on October 29 from 9.30am to 1pm to showcase what they do, recruit new members and show how much fun it can be to join in. There are free refreshments and plenty of opportunities to ask questions with no obligation.
