CONCERT - In Kingsland Parish Church tomorrow (Friday) at 7.30pm given by the Birchpole Singers, conductor Alan Taylor, entitled Bach to the Beatles. The programme is a varied concert for springtime and tickets are available at the door for £10 to include drinks and light refreshments. Accompanied children welcome, £5.

FLOWER SHOW - On August 4 at the Coronation Hall, the show opens to the public at 2pm with the presentation of cups at 3.30pm. Classes include vegetables, flowers, cookery, wine, crafts, photography and children’s section. RECITAL - There will be an organ recital in Kingsland Church, performed by Timothy Noon, director of music at Auckland Cathedral, New Zealand, on Wednesday at 7.45pm. Tickets £7.50 (to include wine and refreshments) are available in advance from Kingsland Post Office or on the door.
