GALA DAY - Due to the cancellation of the Kington Gala Day on June 16, the Kington Lions duck race did not take place. Since many ducks were sold in advance of the event, a draw was undertaken during the last business meeting. A member of the public drew three tickets in the bar of the Burton Hotel and the winners were: £100 J Drysdale, £50 Julia Vore, £25 David Parry.
