COURSES - Course coming up at Marches Access Point, Kington include basic word processing (five weeks, starting Wednesday, 10am-noon); computers for beginners (five weeks, starting June 13, 2pm - 4pm); introduction to digital images (five weeks from June 12, 10am-noon). Courses cost £45 but concessions are available. Drop in or call 01544 231771 for further information.
HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY - The next meeting is today (Thursday) in the Masonic Hall, Headbrook, at 7.30pm, doors open at 7pm.
Speaker Duncan Coombs’ subject is pond marginals and bog gardens. There will be plants for sale and coffee.
U3A - The next social meeting for Kington U3A is on June 14, at 2pm at Kington Football Club. This will be the annual meeting followed by some talks on its groups. It is hoped that members will attend this meeting and participate in general discussion. Nonmembers will be welcome.
