Kington horticultural society and Kados panto

HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY - The next meeting is on Thursday, February 16, at 7.30pm in the Masonic Hall, Headbrook. Speaker Dr Noel Kingsbury’s subject is New wave planting.

The doors open at 7pm.

KADOS PANTO - Following the very successful Gilbert and Sullivan Pirates of Penzance, Kington and District Operatic Society (KADOS) is to present its annual pantomime, Cinderella. With a cast of two of the ugliest ugly sisters, a meddlesome Dandini and Miss Fitz’ exercise class,not to mention a whole host of other hilarious characters, this year’s production is set to wow audiences. The production takes place at Lady Hawkins’ Community Leisure Centre on February 16 to 18, beginning at 7.30pm with a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm. Tickets are obtainable from Tom Bounds Electrical, 32 High Street on 01544 231303 (day) and 231501 (evening). Adults £7, under-16s £4.
