OPERA IN Lingen - Glyndebourne Opera Films present The Rake’s Progress by Stravinsky at Lingen Village Hall this Sunday at 6.30pm. Admission is £5 which will include a complimentary glass of wine. For further details, call 01568 770723.

FLICKS IN STICKS - The film Water for Elephants (12A) will be shown at Lingen Village Hall on Friday, February 10, starting at 7.30pm. Admission is £3.50 for adults.

Refreshments will be served including ice cream.

GARDENING - The next meeting of Lingen Gardening Club will take place is on Tuesday in Lingen Village Hall from 7.30pm. This month will feature a talk Birmingham Botanical Gardens, past and present and future with Philip Aubury. Visitors are most welcome at a cost of £3, members 50p. This will include refreshments.
