YOUNG FARMERS - Kington Young Farmers’ Club members took part in a carol singing evening, touring the local area and raising £211 for St Michael’s Hospice.
BELLY DANCE - Belly dance classes for all ages, shapes and sizes, no experience necessary, are held in St Mary’s Church Hall, Kington, on Tuesdays from 6.30pm to 7.30pm. Contact Nancy on 01981 500113 for more details.
VOLUNTEERS’ COURSE - Are you interested in working with or managing volunteers? Are you currently a member of a voluntary group and want to get more involved? Do you manage volunteers and want to improve your skills? If the answer to any of these questions is yes, then this is the course for you.
Marches Access Point (MAP) is offering people in and around the Kington area a free course aimed at volunteering. The course is called Community Engagement (Volunteering) and starts on February 7. As a participant you will be asked to record a number of your volunteering hours and attend some workshops held in Kington at MAP.
