FLICKS IN STICKS TOMORROW - (Friday) presents Jane Eyre with Judi Dench, at Hope-under- Dinmore Village hall. Doors will be open at 7pm and the film starts at 7.30pm.Tickets are £3.50 for adults and £2 for children,on the door. Light refreshments will be available, including a free mince pie.

HARVEST SUPPER - At the village harvest supper 60 people enjoyed a very good evening. Thanks go to everyone who gave prizes for the raffle. £400 was raised toward the upkeep of the hall.

HARVEST SUPPER - Saturday, at 7pm, our annual harvest supper is being held in the village hall, where there is plenty of free parking. There will be a wide choice of hot, home-cooked dishes, followed by puddings and cheese and biscuits, with tea and coffee available. The cost is £6 per person. Please bring your own drinks, crockery and cutlery. As an extra treat, after the meal there will be a belly-dancing display by our resident artiste, also a raffle. Prizes would be most welcome. BARBECUE - Our summer barbecue was a great success, and we would like to say thank you to everyone who contributed either food, or raffle prizes, or their presence. Special thanks to Dinmore caravans and Northside garage.The evening was a very happy one, and although more people came than we expected, everyone was very well fed.
