Hereford crafts, sportsmen raise funds and belly dance classes

CRAFTS - Golden Valley Craft Society will be at All Saints’ Church, Hereford, from February 13-18 with locally made crafts, such as five-stick weaving, knitting, jewellery, pressed flower gifts and more, all at very reasonable prices and of good quality.

Refreshments are available in the church.

SPORTSMEN RAISE FUNDS - A Sportsman’s Dinner organised by Lloyd TSB relationship manager Neil Herbert has raised £3,500 for The Haven in Hereford. The event at Hereford Racecourse had ex-England and Arsenal player Ray Parlour as guest of honour and after dinner speaker, plus comedian Mick Walker. An auction took place with lots such as an annual season ticket for Hereford United and sporting memorabilia. BELLY DANCE CLASSES - Belly dance classes start in Castle Street on February 23, running for five weeks. No experience necessary.
