HOSPICE CASH - A performing arts school invited students’ parents to join them in class in aid of charity. The aspiring actors, singers and dancers at Stagecoach, based at Lower Eggleton, raised £300 for Acorns Children’s Hospice and Interact, which runs workshops across the country for young people with educational, physical and financial needs.

RESCUE FUND - Meat giant Cargill has donated £400 to the Severn Area Rescue Association allowing it to buy a rescue mannequin for volunteers to train with.

PARK PLAN - A car park, footpath and cycleway is earmarked for land off Waterfield Road. Plans have been submitted for the additions at Belmont Haywood Country Park.
