CASTLE GREEN CHRISTMAS FAIR - Donations for the event on December 4, 10am-4pm, raising funds for Castle Green, can be dropped off in the porch of 41 Nelson Street, (diagonally opposite the shop) or at Castle Cliffe, 14 Quay Street. Or call Mark Hubbard on 01432 272684 to arrange collection.

CRAFTY PEOPLE NEEDED - Do you enjoy arts and crafts? If so, Herefordshire Heartstart would love you to volunteer to create a few beautiful, quality heart shaped items to sell at a craft fair in December. Tree decorations, small cushions, Christmas wreaths, jewellery, cards, pictures or cupcakes (if you have a food safety certificate) etc will help the group continue teaching free Heartstart courses, in which members of the public learn what to do if their loved one is having a heart attack, is choking or bleeding severely For details, call co-ordinator Loraine Coleman on 08456 060654, email info@herefordshireheartstart.

CONCERT - At Holy Trinity Church, Whitecross Road on Saturday at 7.30pm there will be a concert by the Hereford Rail Male Voice Choir in aid of the Midlands Air Ambulance. Admission £5 on the door.

SPIRITUAL SERVICE - The Christian Spiritual Church of Tranqillity is a spiritual church with a divine service held every Sunday morning at Westfield Community Hall in Highmoor Street. There is a different guest speaker each week, giving an hour of mediumship.

The service starts at 10.30am, doors open at 10am. There is no entrance fee.

Refreshments are available. The church is commited to raising funds throughout the year to enable an annual donation to be given to local charities. This year’s donation was given during the harvest festival service to Hereford and Worcester Animal Rescue.
