Hay remembering Sir William Reardon-Smith

REMEMBERING SIR WILLIAM REARDON-SMITH - The next meeting of U3A Hay takes place at Summerhill Golf Club, Hay on Wye, on Tuesday, starting at 10.30am for the morning session and at 1.30pm for the afternoon session. In the morning session Dr David Jenkins will give a talk entitled Remembering Sir William Reardon-Smith, a fascinating man who was a master mariner, ship-owner and philanthropist from Swansea. In the afternoon members of our current affairs group, which meets in a local pub once a month, will tell you how they put the world to rights. It should be a lively discussion.

The entrance fee is £2 for members and £5 for non-members - new members always welcome, the only criteria being that you have to be able to attend day-time events.
